What happens when scanned?
The phone opens the default maps app (Apple Maps or Google Maps) with the coordinates pinned and ready for navigation.
How precise are the coordinates?
Down to roughly 1 meter at 6 decimal places. Most use cases only need 4-5 decimals.
Can I encode an address instead of coordinates?
Not directly — the geo: standard uses lat/long. Convert your address to coordinates first (Google Maps shows them under the location pin).
Does it work offline?
Once the maps app loads the location, navigation depends on the user's data and map cache.
