Set up in three steps
-
Create a dynamic QR code
Sign in, enter a link and tick “Track scans”. The code points to a short qray.io link, so every scan is counted — and the destination can be changed later.
-
Connect the QRay bot
In Settings press “Connect”, Telegram opens, press “Start”. That's all: no tokens, no chat ids.
-
Get a message on every scan
A scan arrives within seconds: which code, where, on which device and how many scans it has today.
What you get
-
Instant scan alerts
A message on every scan of every dynamic code. A burst of scans is folded into one message, so the chat is never flooded.
-
Daily, weekly, monthly reports
Totals, unique scans, change against the previous period, top codes, countries and devices — with a chart.
-
CSV of every scan
Each report carries a CSV file: time, code, destination, country, city, device and referrer. Open it in Excel or Google Sheets.
-
Groups, channels, your own bot
Send notifications to a team group or a channel through your own bot from @BotFather — under your brand name.
-
Per-code settings
Each code follows your profile or has its own rules: alerts only for the codes that matter, or a separate chat for a client.
-
Your time zone
Times in messages and report boundaries follow your time zone, so “today” means your today.

Frequently asked questions
Is it free?
Yes. Dynamic QR codes, scan statistics, Telegram notifications and reports are free. You only need to sign in with Google.
Which QR codes send notifications?
Dynamic codes — the ones created with “Track scans” enabled. A static code encodes your data directly, scans never pass through QRay, so there is nothing to notify about.
Do I need to create my own Telegram bot?
No. Connect the QRay bot in one tap: press “Connect” in Settings and then “Start” in Telegram. Your own bot is optional — for groups, channels or your brand name.
Can notifications go to a group or a channel?
Yes, through your own bot: add it to the group or make it a channel admin, then press “Find chat id” in Settings and save.
What does a scan message contain?
The code name, its destination, the city and country (estimated from the IP address), the device type, the local time and the scan totals for the code.
Will a popular code spam my chat?
No. Scans that arrive within a few seconds are folded into one message, and you can switch per-scan alerts off and keep only reports.
How do I turn notifications off?
Switch them off in Settings or on a single code's page, or send /stop to the bot.
